Adding an Email or Text Template

How to add or edit an email template for the account.

How does it work?

  • Click on your name in the upper right corner

  • Click on Settings

  • Click on dealership name

  • Click on Templates

  • Click on the green "Add Template" button

  • Check the box for the type of message you want to create (email or text)

Choose a Template Name: Pick something your users will be able to relate to.

Emails:

  • Email Subject: Add a subject here so that each time this template is chosen, it automatically populates the subject line. This is optional.

  • Available Data Tags: Feel free to copy and paste a data tag into the body of the template. The tags will then pull that information right off the up sheet for you.

  • Email Editor: Utilize editor to really customize your message with hyperlinks, pictures and unique fonts. 

    Text Messages:

    Check out our Text Template Library to quickly add some template to your account!

You can tell which templates have email and text version or just email or just text by the icons displayed next to the template names.

Note: If there is a template for both email and text (as noted in the First Follow Up above, it will only send one or the other. It will try for a text first and if there is no texting line, an email will be sent.
