Setting Up a Verified Number
Click on your name in the Upper Right Corner.
Click "My Settings" at the top of the screen.
Click the "Phones" tab.
Click the red "Add new phone" link.
Enter your phone number and provide a label for it.
Click the "Add phone" button.
Please note: This number cannot be landline with an auto-attendant as the 4 digit code can not get through. Please use a direct line, that can be picked up directly or a cell phone.
Verify Your Phone Number
Click on "I'm ready to answer, please call now" or "Send text message."
Your phone will ring, answer the call to get your 4-digit code. Or you will receive a text message with the 4-digit code.
Enter in the code and click Confirm.
The system will let you know that your phone number has been verified.
Setting Up Your Texting Number
AutoRaptor will set up a dedicated texting number so that you can text contacts from within the app. Note: you must have a verified phone number on your user account in order to set up a texting number, so that AutoRaptor has somewhere to direct the call if a contact calls your texting number. If you don’t have a verified phone, the app will walk you through that process as well.
Set up texting by going to the ‘Phones’ section of the ‘Your Settings’ page within the app.
Input your area code
Note: If there are no numbers available for your first choice area code, you will be prompted to try another area code. We can’t guarantee an available number with your local area code, so you may need to try area codes outside of what you consider local, potentially in other states.
