Phone Calls

How does it work?

Once you have a verified phone line, using that number to make outgoing calls is easy. Click on a phone number in the upper right side of a customer's up sheet. A large box will pop-up containing the phone number in very large print. That phone number can be dialed using any of the phone numbers that have been set up in AutoRaptor. Your phone will ring and you must pick it up and dial any digit to connect the call.

Next, you will be prompted to leave notes about your call.

**Leaving notes is what logs your calls in the Activity Report. ALWAYS LEAVE NOTES!**

By default, all dealerships start with 500 minutes of talk time. Contact support@autoraptor.com to add additional minutes.

Texting

How does it work?

  • Go to the up sheet of the customer you wish you text

  • Compose messages by clicking the “New text message” button under the Communication area of the associated up sheet. Clicking this link will open a texting dialogue that allows you to choose the contact you want to text.

  • You can type your message in the text box. You can send pictures as well by click on "Add file" below the text box where you can choose a picture from your computer or phone.

  • You can also choose from a pre-designed template and edit the template to send!

  • Hit "Send Text" when you are ready to send your text.Receiving Texts

Emails

Under the Communication sections on the up sheet Click “new email"

  • Type up an email up in your own words

  • Enter in a Subject

  • You may use the editor at the top to add a hyperlink, edit the text, add in bullets, etc.

  • You can also add in directly an AutoCheck report link, Carfax report, or vehicle images by clicking the appropriate button below the subject line.

  • You can also choose from a variety of pre-written emails in the Template Library. (Templates contain data tags, like {FIRST_NAME}, that will automatically fill in that information from the up sheet.) Move your cursor over the words in top right corner of the email box.

  • Choose a template from the list that best matches the message you are wanting to send.

  • The Signature you set-up under "Your Settings" will automatically apply when you send out your email.
